After 6 months of hard work on working on my website, I’m finally getting a PageRank for my website! And it’s a PageRank of 4 which I think is quite good for a start. My current Alexa Rank is 414,513 and I’m working hard to hit the 100,00 mark by end of year. Thanks for everyone who has been linking to my blog and being supportive for my illustrator tutorials.  If you have been enjoying my blog, do help spread the blog by giving a link or spreading to your friends.  Thanks!

You can get interesting dotted lines with your Stroke Palette. Open up your Stroke Palette from Window>Stroke. Draw a line and select it. Enter the dash and gap value as shown. Experiment with different dash and gap values for different effects. To create a square dotted line, make sure the dash and weight is the same value.

So I’ve decided to write this tutorial to help those interested in creating this awesome disco ball effect. It is actually quite simple, the technique is to create the texture first and map it onto the 3D sphere. However, we will require Illustrator CS and above to create this effect.
